Our Apartment

I thought that it was about time for a new post... and since many of you haven't seen our apartment, how about a video tour? I took this video the day that we signed our lease and got the key. We were both very excited and relieved!

Here's my disclaimer: I'm not that great at narrating (or videoing -- hope no one gets dizzy!)...



We've made a couple changes in the set-up of the kitchen, including moving the fridge from right inside the door to across from the door (which is unfortunately in front of a window... but there weren't too many other options!). The stove is now further to the right, which leaves room for a table that makes up for a little bit of the missing counter space.

The apartment looks very different, obviously, with furniture! We're still in the process of getting everything situated, and are also going through things to organize and "downsize" the amount of stuff we have! I have to ask myself tough questions like, "Do I really need to keep those 7 teeth that I had pulled when I was 12?"... Once the apartment is in better order, I'll post another video tour, and this time I'll try not to do too many quick turns! By that time, we should have some plants on the front porch. :o)
